Melissa C. Macero is a PhD candidate in English Literature and President of the Graduate Student Council at the University of Illinois Chicago. Her research focuses on 20th- and 21st-century American literature and film with a concentration in popular culture and horror studies. She is also the Editorial Manager for Mediations.
